The Future is Here: Be part of a New Study Examining the Effects of CBD on Arthritis
Osteoarthritis (OA), also known as degenerative joint disease (DJD) is the most
common form of arthritis in dogs, affecting up to quarter of the population of geriatric
dogs. Common treatments are Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID), but
they don’t provide adequate pain relief for some dogs with OA, and they have a high
potential for side effects (up to 55% of the cases).

beneficial properties when it comes to Joint health and mobility, us at Weedley
decided to check it ourselves. These days we are conducting a new study to
determine the efficiency of our hemp-rich extract on dogs with OA. In order to
achieve highly accurate results, we partnered with Pet Pace, which produces smart
sensing collars for pain monitoring. These collars are set to monitor pain via multiple
Using those parameters and many more, we can measure the possible improvement in the quality of life of the pet diagnosed with OA. With our findings, we can only hope that not too long from today, Osteoarthritis wouldn’t be such a scary word.
